Servisoft Dashboard widget for Mac OS X 10.4 "Tiger"
The Servisoft Dashboard Widget allows quick searching in the whole Servisoft
product catalog, which includes over 7.000 hardware and software accessories for
Mac, iPod and Windows. Real time stock availability and price information is
provided:
This widget is copyrighted "Servisoft -
Serviços de Informática e Telemática, Lda", Portugal. It was developed by
Declarativa (owner of this website), who in addition to all Servisoft
Information Systems also developed iProducts (a generic
iTunes-looking web product catalog to embed in reseller sites),
Web Application Maker (a declarative web information systems tool for SQL
Server) and InterProlog (the leading Java bridge for
Prolog engines).
Installation
Mac OS X 10.4 Tiger is required.
- If you’re using Safari, click the
download link. When
the widget download is complete, show Dashboard, click the Plus sign to
display the Widget Bar and click the widget’s icon in the Widget Bar to open
it.
- If you’re using a browser other than Safari, click the download
link. When the widget download is complete, unarchive it and place it in
/Library/Widgets/ in your home folder. Show Dashboard, click the Plus sign to
display the Widget Bar and click the widget’s icon in the Widget Bar to open
it
After installing just type a product manufacturer's reference, or parts of
its name or description. Visualize all products found by clicking the lateral
arrows.
Clicking the "i" right bottom corner button shows the preferences panel,
where a Servisoft reseller user/password can be provided making the widget
display reseller prices instead. The number of products found and shown in the
main panel can also be adjusted.
